Centurion Deliveries, an Amazon DSP, operates out of Amazon’s DMF5 Delivery Station, West of Dolphin Mall. Your job will be to delight customers delivering packages safely, efficiently AND with the best attitude. Safety first, always .
This is an attractive place to work, and we are looking for part time (convert to full based on performance), hardworking employees that enjoy working in a safe, friendly and fun environment. You will work up to 4 days a week with shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours. Van or truck driving experience is a plus, not required.
Job Description
, Requirements and Expectations:
· Must be legally able to work in the US
· Driver Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver’s License
· Driver must have clean driving record for past seven years
· On the road job, getting in and out of the van frequently
· Make over 250 stops per day
· Driver needs to load the van prior to departure
· Be able to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. (most will be below 3lbs)
· Driver Must know how to use a Smartphone
· Driver must find addresses through GPS and use technology that continually improves
· Driver must make deliveries on time
· We deliver packages to houses, mobile parks, apartments, lockers and businesses
· Walk up flights of stairs to deliver with or without reasonable accommodation
· Up to 10.5 hrs shift per day. 10 hrs paid (30 min unpaid lunch break)
· Two (2) paid breaks (15 min each) plus an unpaid lunch break (30 min)
· Routes may be in similar areas, but no guarantee of route location each day
· 2/3 day training provided by Amazon
· Eight days of nursery (training routes): 4 days 75%, next 4 85%. Then 100% full route.
