We are seeking a Shipping Associate/Auditor - Material Handler for 2nd shift.  The role's primary function is to retrieve stock to fill customer orders, fulfill and process orders, accept incoming/outgoing shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.  This role is located in Bay Shore, NY and requires 2nd shift hours of 4pm - 1am. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and EEO policies.
• Pick, scan, and package orders using handheld devices and software.
• Inspect items and verify shipment accuracy.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, palletizers).
• Stock, organize, and rotate inventory efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support process improvements and assist team members as needed.
• Perform general warehouse tasks (e.g., loading, labeling, disposing of damaged goods).
• Available for overtime and weekend shifts.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Proficient with various equipment: hand trucks, pallet jacks, stand-up/sit-down forklifts, order pickers, Bendi, and Turret Trucks.
• Comfortable working at heights (18–30 ft).
• Basic English literacy, math, and computer skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse environment preferred

Physical Requirements – Essential:

• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Job Type: Hourly, Full-time
Pay: $18 to $22
