Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Advanced Placement Computer Science teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in teaching the American curriculum, specifically AP Computer Science, and a passion for inspiring students to excel in the field of computer science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in AP Computer Science.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess student understanding and progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the computer science curriculum and incorporate innovative teaching practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching AP Computer Science in an American curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of the AP Computer Science curriculum and assessment practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
