Assistant Property Manager

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Compensation: $20 – $24 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations at a multifamily community. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career in property management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager in daily operations to ensure the property runs efficiently.
• Manage resident relations and retention by responding to and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with leasing activities, including lease renewals and attracting prospective residents.
• Handle rent collections, posting, and delinquency management.
• Monitor market trends by shopping competitive properties and staying informed on pricing and lease terms.
• Assist with training and supporting onsite team members.
• Prepare and distribute regular resident communications and reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in property management or a related industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of real estate contracts and leases.
• Experience in rent collections and general ledger posting.
• Familiarity with MRI software is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency with social media platforms is a plus.
