Assistant Property Manager

Overview
An experienced Assistant Property Manager is sought to support the operations of a mid-sized apartment community in Tacoma. This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations, leasing, resident relations, and financial administration, while ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Support daily operations of a mid-sized residential community, ensuring smooth and efficient property management.
Assist with leasing, tours, application processing, move-ins, and move-outs.
Manage resident relations, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
Process rent payments, monitor delinquencies, and support collection efforts.
Maintain accurate tenant files, reports, and compliance documentation.
Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure timely repairs and property upkeep.
Contribute to marketing, renewals, and resident retention programs.

What It Takes
3+ years of property management or leasing experience.
Strong understanding of property management operations, including leasing and rent collection.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with residents, vendors, and staff.
Proficiency in property management software (Yardi preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
