Hourly Pay: $21-$22 per hour Part-time

Schedule: Open including weekends and holidays

Job Summary

Were seeking a skilled and service-driven part-time cafe Barista to craft quality beverages while creating a warm welcoming experience for patients visitors and staff in a medical this fast-paced setting youll prepare a variety of drinks with precision maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety and deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.

What Youll Do

• Operate a cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus).
• Set up appropriate cashier bank.
• Document cash received and charges made.
• Identify customer needs and refer them to the appropriate department for follow-up when necessary.
• Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
• Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso caffe latte and cappuccino.
• Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies pastries and cookies etc. for the coffee bar.
• Stock refrigerators with beverages condiments etc.
• Clean sanitize polish general work areas this includes sweeping mopping vacuuming and throwing trash.
• Prepare and gather items needed for meal service.
• Provide exceptional service to all guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

• High School Diploma/GED
• 12 years of barista experience ideally in a healthcare or institutional setting
• Proficient in preparing espresso-based drinks brewed coffee and specialty beverages
• Skilled in operating commercial coffee equipment (e.g. espresso machines grinders brewers)
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g. low sugar dairy-free)
• Dependable and punctual with strong multitasking skills
• Warm professional demeanor with a focus on patient and staff satisfaction
• Knowledge of healthcare sanitation standards
• Commitment to maintaining a clean safe and organized work area
• ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Physical and Sensory Requirements

• This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes airborne particles and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods lift trays and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions extreme temperatures and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
