Job Description
This is not a remote position JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for taking accurate measurements of existing structures & developing as built drawings.
- Responsible for all computer aided design duties including design, drawing, replication and cataloged storage of architectural drawings and blueprints.
- Responsible to transpose existing drawings and create accurate drawings of existing structures.
- Responsible to reference Local, State and Federal construction codes as applicable.
- Design new floor plans and interpretation of existing drawings.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Two (2) or more years of experience with architectural drawing using AutoCAD version 2023 .
- Knowledge of commercial building construction methods, floor plans and structural codes to obtain permits is essential.
- Field work experience collecting information for renovation design necessary.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position. American Sign Language is also an acceptable form of communication.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift Fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.
- Must be able to work in extremes of weather, on roofs, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Must be able to remain flexible in an environment of constant change.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
