This position supports our CTDI OSP (Outside Plant) Telecom Engineering team, which is based out of our Corporate Headquarters.

The teams 2nd preference is open to remote candidates who are located within the Northeast, preferably in EST time zone.

To prepare CAD drawings using customer proprietary applications.
Must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD or CAD application, strong analytical skills, and the desire to learn design methods in telecommunications.
Develop drawings per client standards using IDDS / MicroStation design software.
Work closely with field engineers; prepare complete engineering drawings and associated documentation in compliance with company and client policies.
Incorporate engineering mark-up into drawings and work with engineers on design requirements.
Convert drawings from legacy applications into IDDS / MicroStation format.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with IDDS / ICGS, MicroStation preferred but not required.
Minimum experience in AutoCAD or CAD application required.
Working knowledge of Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Good computer, communication, and visualization skills are needed to work from engineering sketches and documents.
Must be detail-oriented.
Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
High School / Trade school graduate or equivalent.
