Our client is a private equity firm retained Naviga to recruit an experienced Chief Financial Officer.
Title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Remote, US
Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Owner with a dotted line to the CEO.

- Continuing this expansion the goal is double revenue and expand in different segments within telecom construction and design
- Need to bring on a CFO to join the ranks and advise on numbers, forecast, investments, assets, projections, and more

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability
- Lead long-term financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Establish financial planning capability (financial forecasting and decision support) to guide strategic decision-making
- Develop regional KPIs and oversee the development of operating and capital budgets
- Understand the financial specifics driving earnings and develop a framework to evaluate cash flow and capital formation decisions
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
- Appraise the organization's financial position and issue periodic reports to senior management
- Manage and optimize the company's capital structure and working capital
- Direct and coordinate the establishment of operating and capital budgets
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and its private equity investors
- Serve as the company’s primary point of contact for select financing providers
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and private equity partners
- Develop capacity for contracting with new clients, participate in negotiations, and provide analysis and recommendations regarding financial implications
- Support strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and integration
- Consistently monitor the business to ensure the right financial decisions are made, ensuring high profitability (60% return)
- Inspire and guide a team of talented and diverse strategic and operational finance professionals
- Lead the regional finance function, including strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, analytics, management reporting, and initiatives
Requirements: - A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years as a CFO in a SaaS or technology company
- Experience working with private equity-backed companies is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key performance metrics.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and effectively manage remote teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed for investor meetings, board meetings, and company events.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
