Position Title: Chief Nursing Officer
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week)
Duration: 13-week assignment
Pay Rate: $120 - $130 per hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Chief Nursing Officer for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Qualifications:
Required: Valid New York State RN license (candidates with pending license will be considered).
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 years in administration or management.
Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
Demonstrated success in improving patient satisfaction, clinical quality, and workforce engagement.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily nursing operations to ensure safe, patient-centered, high-quality care.
Develop and implement strategic nursing management plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Direct and evaluate performance improvement programs, measuring outcomes against strategic benchmarks.
Provide research-based recommendations to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.
Collaborate with senior leadership, medical staff, and departments to implement clinical integration strategies and nursing policies.
Oversee recruitment, development, and retention of nursing personnel; ensure credentialing, competencies, and ongoing education.
Build strong staff partnerships and maintain productive forums for engagement.
Advocate for nursing roles across leadership forums and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care and identify future needs in technology, systems, and equipment.
Ensure adherence to state, federal, and professional regulations, addressing legal, ethical, and public policy issues.
Manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets in partnership with senior nursing and administrative staff.
