Key Responsibilities
Implement, test, and operate advanced software security techniques in alignment with technical reference architectures.
Conduct ongoing security testing and code reviews to enhance overall software security.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Design and engineer new software solutions aimed at mitigating security vulnerabilities.
Contribute to all layers of system architecture while maintaining clear and accurate technical documentation.
Advise team members on secure coding practices and industry best standards.
Stay current with emerging tools, methodologies, and best practices to continuously strengthen security posture.
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph (required).
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software design, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (required).
May substitute five (5) years of additional software engineering experience for the degree requirement.
One (1) of the following certifications (required):
AWS Certified Developer – Associate
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Elastic Certified Engineer
Highly Desired Qualifications
Willingness to support rotating on-call responsibilities across the team.
Hands-on experience with Git, Kubernetes, Docker, or comparable DevOps tools.
Familiarity with the Spring Framework / Spring Batch.
Experience working with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
Knowledge of test frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Experience with UI frameworks such as ReactJS.
Understanding of agency data flow formats and standards.
Familiarity with analyst toolkit applications.
Recent hands-on experience with Java (Maven) and some Python.
Recent experience with streaming data frameworks, such as Apache Flink or Spring Cloud Data Flow.

Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
