Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale roofing projects. This role requires a proven leader with deep technical knowledge of roofing systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all field activities including crew scheduling, safety compliance, and quality control
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules
  • Conduct daily jobsite meetings and enforce safety protocols
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Communicate progress updates with project managers and clients, maintaining detailed site documentation

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of low-slope roofing systems and installation methods
  • Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple priorities on active jobsites
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • OSHA safety training or certification preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
