Job Description

We’re seeking a mission-aligned Content and Clinical Specialist to support the creation of high-impact content across our external communications channels. You’ll help bring clarity and value to our diverse stakeholders, including people living with diabetes, clinicians, and researchers—through instructional materials, marketing assets, clinical communications, and research-focused content.

Experience in regulated healthcare, medical devices, or health technology communications is preferred—bonus points for experience in content marketing, digital campaigns, or community engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and accessible materials, including user guides, quick-start guides, resource hub content, and patient education tools.

  • Help prepare instructional materials for human factors testing or clinical studies.

  • Support the development of white papers and research summaries that translate data into compelling narratives.

  • Write and manage content for marketing campaigns, webinar promotions, product launches, social ads, and newsletters.

  • Maintain an editorial calendar aligned with organizational priorities and program timelines.

  • Review and refine content for clarity, tone, accessibility, and maintain Tidepool’s brand voice.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling language for varied audiences and reading levels.

  • Project management experience and ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple priorities.

  • Comfort working remotely and collaborating across time zones and functions.

Success in this role means delivering accurate, engaging, and accessible content on time, maintaining Tidepool’s brand voice, and helping to strengthen engagement with our community and clinical partners.

Additional Information

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000—flexible, fully remote work environment with up to 20% travel time.

Other Information

While many of Tidepool’s team members have a personal connection to diabetes, this is not a requirement. We do ask that you have empathy for chronic conditions and you are prepared to learn about the diabetes experience.

This is a remote position – you’ll be working from home and interacting with a team that works around the world, currently in 13 states and 5 countries. Learn more about working at Tidepool, including our approach to inclusion and diversity at Tidepool.org.

Does this sound like you? We’d love to hear from you!
