Job Description

About Us

Clarity is the revenue cycle partner for independent dermatology practices that want to thrive. We go far beyond billing to help physician-owners get paid fully and accurately, gain CEO-level visibility into their business, and operate like a top-tier group. We pair unmatched specialty scale and analytics with a seasoned, high-touch team to give our clients a true growth engine they can control.

Marketing at Clarity

Clarity has reached an impressive milestone: nearly 200 dermatology practices with minimal marketing investment. Growth to date has been founder-led and referral-driven, which validates our strong product-market fit and has created a deep well of customer love. Now, we're ready to build a repeatable, scalable marketing foundation to establish Clarity as the undisputed category leader.

The Opportunity

This is a foundational role for our marketing team. We're looking for a strategic content leader to own our content and communications strategy from the ground up. You will be responsible for building our brand voice, delivering exceptional value to our audience, and creating a content engine that drives growth. You'll focus on creating and distributing high-value content across owned, paid, social media, search, email, and partnerships. You'll be asked to grow our existing audience and establish new ones, ultimately shaping how we connect with our customers.

Success in this role looks like:

  • A scalable, repeatable content engine is built that consistently drives organic traffic and generates high-quality leads.
  • Clarity's blog and media properties are recognized as a go-to industry resource, rivaling established publications for audience attention.
  • Clarity's L&D platform is a thriving educational platform that builds deep trust and affinity with our audiences.
  • Our social media presence is a vibrant channel for brand building, community engagement, and content distribution that makes people say, "Whoa."

We're looking for someone to:

  • Develop and execute a content strategy from scratch, defining the right mix between SEO-driven educational content and virality-optimized thought leadership.
  • Build and manage the company's editorial calendar, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-quality content that addresses our Ideal Customer Profile's needs and journey.
  • Hunt for opportunity by performing research and audience analysis to find underserved topics where we can create differentiated, high-value content.
  • Interview internal SMEs and current clients to unearth unique insights that will form the backbone of our most authoritative content.
  • Build and launch core educational platform.
  • Own lifecycle marketing, particularly for current customers and prospects at the Top of Funnel (TOFU).
  • Vet, build, and oversee a team of creative resources (freelancers, contractors, agencies) to produce best-in-class articles, videos, and guides, ensuring all output is on-brand.
  • Contribute to the content distribution strategy, including paid social, sponsorships, and email, to ensure our content reaches the right audience.

What makes you awesome:

  • You see yourself as a T-shaped or π-shaped marketer, with deep experience in one or two core marketing functions (e.g., education, SEO, community) and a broad understanding of other marketing disciplines.
  • You are a creative, strategic thinker who knows that "good" content no longer gets results... you aim to create great work that is genuinely better or different.
  • You are an intentional planner who can model the potential impact of content and align stakeholders on the "why" behind your strategy.
  • You take action with minimal supervision, view all tasks through the lens of connecting with people, and make decisions based on shared company goals.
  • You think long-term and understand that building a great content engine is a supertanker, not a speedboat; you're patient and persistent.
  • You have a growth and data-driven mindset (testing, measuring, iterating) and a strong handle on experimentation.
  • You are constantly looking to learn in all aspects of life and model trust and integrity.
  • You have at least 3 to 5 years of B2B content marketing or demand generation experience (bonus if you also have SaaS experience).
  • You're excited about working at a remote-first company.
  • Bonus : You have built content or demand generation processes from scratch and are familiar with best practices in a B2B SaaS context.
