Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina, on a contract basis. This position involves supporting critical HR and payroll functions during a short-term project. The ideal candidate will excel in high-volume data entry tasks and demonstrate unwavering accuracy and efficiency in their work. Responsibilities: - Input employee benefit deductions and plans for a workforce of 150 staff members with precision. - Assist the HR team in managing open enrollment processes and benefit-related tasks. - Verify the accuracy of deductions and ensure proper allocation. - Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors in data entry. - Collaborate effectively with HR colleagues to ensure smooth operations. - Complete all assigned tasks within the designated two-week timeframe, with a potential for extension. - Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks based on urgency. - Provide reliable support for payroll system updates and transitions. Requirements - Previous experience in HR or payroll is preferred, though entry-level candidates will be considered. - Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. - Comfortable performing high-volume data entry in a fast-paced environment. - Must be able to work on-site at the Charlotte, North Carolina office. - Dependable and punctual, available to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. - Proficient in computer data entry, including numeric and alphanumeric typing. - Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain focus under pressure.
