Job Title: Deputy Executive Director – Home Care (Direct Hire)
Location: NYC (One of the 5 Boroughs)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $225,000 – $235,000 Annually (Direct Hire)
We are seeking an experienced Home Care Executive Leader (RN) to oversee operations, administration, and clinical delivery of home and community-based services within a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA). This role will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple locations and service teams, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.
The Deputy Executive Director will assume full administrative authority over day-to-day operations while guiding interdisciplinary home-care programs and nursing services to support patients transitioning across the care continuum.
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
AHA BLS Certification
Master’s Degree Required in one of the following:
Nursing
Hospital Administration
Health Care/Services Administration
Administrative Medicine
Public Health
Provide regulatory, clinical, operational, quality, safety, and financial oversight of CHHA services.
Lead interdisciplinary home health and community-based care delivery teams.
Oversee administrative and clinical functions at the CHHA’s parent and branch sites.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards governing home health services.
Optimize operational efficiency, financial performance, and quality outcomes.
Direct nursing-related programming and service delivery programs across home-based care networks.
Maintain accountability for staffing, workflow, patient service coordination, and resource utilization.
Partner with internal leadership, care teams, and external community partners to support patient needs across the care continuum.
6+ years of progressive leadership experience in:
Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) administration
OR
A blend of CHHA and hospital administration/business/public administration roles
Demonstrated experience managing home and community-based patient care programs.
Strong knowledge of:
CHHA operational standards
Applicable regulations and compliance requirements
Budgetary and financial management practices
Human resources and leadership management principles
