Job Description

Job Summary: Jay Auto Honda is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Detailer to join our Body Shop team in Bedford, Ohio. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and detailing vehicles after they have been repaired in our Body Shop. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry that offers a competitive compensation of $18 to $22 per hour, paid weekly. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and clean vehicles that have been repaired in the Body Shop
• Use various techniques, tools, and products to clean, polish, and wax vehicle exteriors
• Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors
• Ensure all surfaces and areas of the vehicle are thoroughly cleaned, including door jambs, wheels, and engine compartments
• Perform touch-up paint jobs and minor repairs on paint imperfections
• Identify and report any issues or damage found during cleaning process
• Collaborate with the rest of the Body Shop team to ensure timely and efficient completion of all tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a Detailer in the auto industry preferred
• Knowledge of various cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of vehicle components
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
