Sunday to Sunday is looking for a dishwasher to join our team in the Lower East Side. We are an all-day cafe and restaurant/bar, and we need someone reliable to help keep the flow of the space moving.
This is a part-time role for 3 days a week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am–4pm daily.
The job involves washing, drying, and polishing all glassware, cutlery, and plateware. Because of the layout of the space, you will be responsible for going back and forth between the kitchen and dining room to grab full dirty bus bins and restock the front with clean ones. You will also be responsible for cleaning pans, spatulas, and knives from the line.
General maintenance is a major part of the role. You will be expected to keep the dish pit organized, sweep and mop as needed, and maintain cleanliness across the whole store and the bathrooms.
Requirements:
Being bilingual in Spanish and English is a huge plus.
Must take direction well and be a team player.
Must have valid work authorization for the United States.
Ability to move efficiently between the kitchen and dining room (including stairs/ramps with heavy bins).
Reliable and punctual for the Friday–Sunday day shift.
Pay is $17–$18/hr depending on experience. We pay weekly.

Sunday to Sunday busca un lavaplatos (dishwasher) para unirse a nuestro equipo en el Lower East Side. Somos un café, restaurante y bar abierto todo el día, y necesitamos a alguien confiable para mantener el ritmo del local.
Este es un puesto de medio tiempo, 3 días a la semana: viernes, sábado y domingo de 8am a 4pm.
El trabajo consiste en lavar, secar y pulir toda la cristalería, cubiertos y platos. Debido a la distribución del local, usted será responsable de ir y volver entre la cocina y el comedor para recoger los contenedores (bus bins) sucios y reponer el frente con contenedores limpios. También será responsable de lavar sartenes, espátulas y cuchillos de la línea de cocina.
El mantenimiento general es una parte fundamental del puesto. Se espera que mantenga el área de lavado organizada, barra y trapee cuando sea necesario, y mantenga la limpieza en toda la tienda y los baños.
Requisitos:
Ser bilingüe en español e inglés es una gran ventaja.
Capacidad para seguir instrucciones correctamente y trabajar bien en equipo.
Debe tener autorización de trabajo válida para los Estados Unidos.
Capacidad para moverse eficientemente entre la cocina y el comedor (incluyendo escaleras/rampas con contenedores pesados).
Ser confiable y puntual para el turno de viernes a domingo.
El pago es de $17 a $18 por hora, dependiendo de la experiencia. Pagamos semanalmente.
