About the Role:  
The Daycare Attendant focuses on pet care and safety in groups, play sessions, and boarding stays. They create a welcoming, clean, and safe experiences for pups and ensure they are engaged in stimulating group activity while monitoring behavior for safety.

A few things to consider:

• Starting rate of pay is between $16.50 and $17.50 per hour, based on experience
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts/days is highly preferred; weekends and holidays is required
• All team members must have a sense of urgency, maintain enthusiasm and high energy in overwhelming situations, possess attention to detail, and show a true commitment to safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and interacting with Members and Pups during drop off and pick up.
• Monitoring pup play groups to provide enrichment, engagement, and a safe environment.
• Ensure safety within groups and between pet play; understand signs of concern or behavior cues to intervene as appropriate.
• Keep all pet play areas and work areas clean of pet waste; ensuring areas are properly maintained, cleaned, and sanitized regularly and throughout your shift.

Additional Details

• Previous experience in pet care, doggie day cares, pet walking or boarding preferred.
• Flexibility to regularly work weekends and at least 3 major holidays is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including attention to detail, communication, active listening, and genuine care and enthusiasm are required.
• Safety is critical for all team members and pets; ability to safely handle animals in various situations and environments is required.
