Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Job Description
As an Electrical Estimator, you will prepare quantity take-offs for electrical and low/medium voltage systems. You will acquire vendor pricing on specialty materials, equipment, and lighting systems, and collaborate with Engineers to develop detailed and meaningful estimates. Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations is crucial, as is preparing, maintaining, and presenting computer-generated spreadsheets, logs, and reports. You will manage communications internally and with general contractors or construction managers, follow up on assigned estimates, and obtain feedback. Attending scope review and project walk-through meetings for bidding purposes is essential, and you will also assist with presentations to clients.
Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs for electrical and low/medium voltage systems.
Acquire vendor pricing on specialty materials, equipment, and lighting systems.
Collaborate with Engineers to develop detailed estimates.
Ensure estimates comply with electrical codes and regulations.
Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets, logs, and reports.
Manage communications with general contractors and construction managers.
Follow up on estimates and obtain feedback.
Attend scope review and project walk-through meetings for bidding.
Assist with client presentations.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ConEst.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse individuals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working at a contractor is preferred.
Ability to provide samples of estimates.
Work Environment
This role requires in-office work. You will be part of a leading, single-source electrical construction and telecommunications services supplier in the New York metropolitan area. The work encompasses tenant fit-out, power infrastructure, data center infrastructure, network design, structured cabling, and electrical system design-build, installation, and maintenance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
