Our rapid growth and breadth of accounts translates into exciting opportunities for our people!The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met. This role involves hands-on preparation, team supervision, and adherence to corporate culinary programs and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate kitchen staff in food preparation and service.
Ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and visually appealing food presentation.
Assist with menu planning, purchasing, inventory, and food production.
Support cost control efforts and manage kitchen expenditures.
Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitation compliance.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related field; or Associate’s degree with additional specialized training.
3–5 years of professional culinary experience.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficient in food costing, quality control, and industry trends.
Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and presentation best practices.
