About the Role:

Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a skilled and compassionate  Full-Time Dialysis Unit Nurse (RN)to join our on-site dialysis team in Brooklyn, NY. This position follows a Monday–Saturday schedule (MWF and TThS), supporting patients undergoing dialysis for kidney failure and related conditions.

We are looking for a dedicated nurse with strong nephrology experience, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, monitoring vitals and overall well-being
• Administer IV and oral medications as prescribed
• Manage dialysis machine setup, access sites (fistulas, grafts, catheters), and treatment monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures and at-home care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and responses
• Respond to medical emergencies using appropriate nursing interventions
• Foster a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license
• Experience in dialysis or nephrology nursing is preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS or CDN certification a plus
• Proficiency in vascular access care and cannulation
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based clinical setting
