Job Description
Our fitness studio is growing quickly, and we need a personal trainer to help our customers achieve their fitness goals. You'll be assessing our customers' fitness levels, creating personalized training routines, and ensuring they're utilizing equipment properly. This role requires outstanding customer service skills as well as a love for exercise and helping others improve their health and wellness. Responsibilities:
• Customize training routines to assist clients in achieving their fitness goals while staying within their current physical capabilities
• Track and adjust client progress and make changes to fitness plans accordingly
• Lead semi-private training sessions (2–4 clients) with precision, energy, and attention to detail.
• Perform fitness and movement assessments to ensure clients start with a strong foundation.
• Deliver programming that aligns with studio standards, including workout progressions, nutrition guidance, and accountability systems .
• Demonstrate and cue proper exercise techniques, breathing, and form corrections to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Provide ongoing client feedback, motivation, and progress tracking to foster long-term retention.
• Contribute to a welcoming, professional studio culture while meeting monthly session and client engagement goals .
Qualifications:
• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• Certified Personal Trainer credential from a recognized organization (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, NCCPT, or equivalent).
• CPR/AED certified (or willing to complete within 60 days).
• Strong knowledge of physiology, biomechanics, and program design for diverse adult populations.
• Excellent coaching, communication, and motivational skills in both one-on-one and small group settings.
• A professional, reliable presence that aligns with our studio’s elevated and client-focused brand .
