We’re searching for a skilled  Heavy Equipment Operator  in Winchester, IN  to play a vital role in our sewer rehabilitation projects. If you’re an experienced operator who values safety, precision, and teamwork, this is your opportunity to dig deep and build a better future!

The starting pay is $20.00-$26.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates with prior industry experience may be able to negotiate a higher starting rate. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

What You’ll Do

• Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, wheel loaders, backhoes, etc.
• Repair, replace, and install various water and sewer lines
• Taking care of equipment (greasing, fueling, reporting issues to the shop, etc)
• Learn Culy's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and use of equipment.
• Work with supervisors, clients, peers, and subordinates.  
• Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment.

What We Need

• Class A or B CDL recommended.
• Experience operating equipment around underground sewer and water lines
• Experience working in an outdoor construction environment.
• OSHA certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Valid/clean driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately to learn Culy's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use.
