Methodist Hospital – Hill Country is seeking a hospitalist to join our team in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:
Board certified or board eligible in internal or family medicine
Texas medical license, or eligible for Texas licensure

8 LDRPs and C-Section operative suite
6 operating suites, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 palliative care suites
1 cardiac/interventional catheterization lab

• Our site is small but mighty. Our hospital consists of a med/surg tele unit as well as an open ICU that predominantly serves as an IMCU. We possess the major specialities, including GI and Urology. We collaborate with a few tele services (pulmonary/critical care, ID, Neuro). Our orthopedic surgery Restore joint replacement program is well known and we assist the surgeons with postoperative medical management. The attendings may cover the inpatient hospice service, which promotes a heavy focus on advance care planning amongst our team as we often provide continuity in this small community. All sub specialists balance clinic and hospital coverage so we depend on our close communication to limit gaps and expedite progression of care.
