HOUSEKEEPER(Part-time)

As a  HOUSEKEEPER , your work is essential to providing for the daily needs and activities of Morning Pointe residents. Our most successful housekeepers are people who:

Housekeepers are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Housekeepers participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Housekeeper can include:

1. Work with the Morning Pointe team to build relationships with residents and families
2. Perform weekly housekeeping services for residents including- 
3. o Changing linens and making the bed
4. o Vacuuming and mopping of floors
5. o Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
6. o Dusting and polishing
7. Get to know the personal cleaning preferences of our residents
8. Keep common spaces clean and presentable
9. Remove waste from common areas regularly
10. Work safely by following regulations and procedures

We are looking for:

1. Someone with a “can do” attitude
2. Someone who enjoys caring for others
3. Someone with reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
4. Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
5. The ability to lift 50 lbs.
6. Able to stand for long periods of time
7. At least 18 years of age
8. High School Diploma or equivalent
