Job Title: Human Factors Engineer-Ground Vehicles

Salary: $90,000-130,000

Position Overview: Altus Engineering, partnered with Davis Defense Group (DDG) is seeking a Human Factors Engineer, with experience in ground vehicle systems, to provide support for the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Program Manager Motor Transportation (PM MT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of ground vehicle system requirements across all human factors domains, including:
• Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT)
• Safety and Occupational Health
• Force Protection and Survivability
• Ergonomics & Usability
• Optimize human performance to enhance total system effectiveness and reduce system ownership costs.
• Consider the complete system lifecycle, including mission equipment, operators, maintainers, support personnel, training systems, and support infrastructure.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of systems engineers, mechanical engineers, acquisition specialists, and logistics professionals to provide design input.
• Integrate human factors considerations in system design and throughout the development lifecycle to ensure operational success and user-centered outcomes.

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in Human Systems Integration or related discipline.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance

• Proven expertise in at least one human factors domain with working knowledge across others.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience in mechanical, structural, electrical, or electronic design
• Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability industry
• Experience with military vehicle systems is highly desirable
