**Hiring Inspector On 1st Shift** **Job Description** This position is primarily responsible for performing activities related to the inspection of medical devices using a variety of inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators. **Responsibilities** + Generate inspection records and document general part information. + Perform inspections based on specified techniques such as comparator, gauge, micrometer, caliper, and CMM. + Document readings from inspection points. + Generate 'non-conforming reports' for parts that do not meet specifications. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using metrology equipment including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges. + Ability to read and understand blueprints/manufacturing drawings. + 3-5 years of inspection experience. + Understanding of GD&T. + High attention to detail for inspecting small parts. + Ability to lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. + Experience with CMM is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a small to mid-sized company that offers opportunities to cross-train in other departments or processes. The shift hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with training conducted during shift hours. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
