The IT Integrations Director leads the design, development, and support of secure, scalable system integrations between internal platforms and external partners. This role sets priorities, manages development backlogs, and provides leadership to onshore and offshore development and QA teams. They are responsible for project estimation, SDLC improvements, and enforcing software development standards. The director ensures best practices are followed throughout integration lifecycles. Technical leadership is provided on complex development issues, with a strong focus on collaboration across departments.
Lead planning, prioritization, and scheduling of integration development and enhancements
Oversee and guide onshore and offshore development and QA teams, including evaluations
Manage integration development tasks, timelines, and weekly status reporting
Recommend and implement improvements to the software development lifecycle and standards
Provide expert technical leadership on complex integration development initiatives
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
EXPERIENCE
8+ years of experience in systems integration, including 3+ years in a leadership or director-level role
Experience with API (REST, SOAP) and flat file integrations (EDI, CSV, XML)
Strong experience with Azure DevOps and full integration lifecycle
Proven ability to lead teams through the SDLC in fast-paced environments
Expertise in MS SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and related technologies
Experience with IPaaS tools, preferably Mulesoft
Experience with HL7, FHIR, and Healthcare Information Exchange preferred
