About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) Engineer to support a major healthcare insurance provider in enhancing and automating their IT service delivery. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional with a strong background in ITSM platforms, process automation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in optimizing service workflows and driving operational efficiency during a platform migration initiative. Job Description
As an ITSM Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and automating ITSM tools and workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure IT services are delivered efficiently and aligned with business needs. This role involves working with modern ITSM platforms, integrating systems, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, document, and implement ITSM solutions tailored to organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative service delivery workflows.
  • Automate ITSM processes to enhance scalability and efficiency.
  • Define integration requirements between ITSM platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Provide guidance and training to IT staff and end-users on ITSM tools and best practices.
  • Monitor KPIs and metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Offer mentorship and technical support to junior team members.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including occasional after-hours and weekend support.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in IT Service Management.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms such as TeamDynamix, Jira, or ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes (incident, change, release, configuration).
  • Proven ability to automate workflows and improve service efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience analyzing ITSM metrics and implementing improvements.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
  • Demonstrated resilience and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in CMDB management, including CI relationships and discovery processes.
  • Experience with hybrid infrastructure (cloud and on-premises).
  • Basic SQL skills for reporting and CMDB data analysis.
  • Strong attention to data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Experience with ITSM platform integrations and discovery tools.
  • Familiarity with Device42 software.
  • Background in AI and automation for process optimization.
  • Experience with platform migrations (e.g., ServiceNow to TeamDynamix) is a plus.
