Job Description:
The Jr. Project Manager/Construction Manager supports the delivery of small construction projects by coordinating administrative tasks, managing budgets and schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining communication with stakeholders under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager. The role involves full project oversight from start to finish, including schedule and budget management, contractor coordination, site visits, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Scheduling: Build, track, and update construction schedules.
Budgeting: Manage budgets, commitments, and cost tracking.
Coordination: Oversee contractors and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and effective relationships.
Safety & Quality: Prioritize site safety, perform site visits, and monitor construction quality.
Project Oversight: Support project execution from initiation to completion under senior supervision.
Qualifications Required:
Experience: 3+ years of relevant project management or construction management experience.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and MS Project; knowledge of Ariba and Procore is a plus.
Construction Knowledge: Familiar with construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and budgeting.
Drawings: Ability and willingness to learn how to interpret construction drawings.
Mindset: Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to take on new challenges.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, onsite role Monday to Friday (40 hours/week), with occasional weekend work based on project schedules. Remote work opportunities may be available after the contract-to-hire period.
