Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Oversee daily unit operations, including staffing, patient flow, and resource management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Develop and maintain performance improvement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes
• Facilitate effective interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
• Champion patient-centered care initiatives and superior service delivery
• Monitor and evaluate clinical practices to maintain highest standards of maternal care

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree (MSN) preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license
• 3-5 years clinical experience in Labor & Delivery or Maternal Care
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in Labor & Delivery setting
• Specialty certification required within 6 months of hire
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
