Licensed Insurance Agent
THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE!!!!!

Location: Tampa, FL (Local candidates only — Hybrid schedule)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $45K–$60K base (DOE, proof of income required) + $10K–$20K incentive potential = $55K–$80K total compensation
Benefits: Medical, 401K, PTO, flexible hybrid schedule

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and professional Licensed Insurance Agent to join a well-established insurance agency based in Tampa, FL. This is a hybrid role with strong earning potential, offering a collaborative, client-focused environment and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and personalized service
• Provide accurate quotes, present coverage options, and close new business opportunities
• Manage renewals, endorsements, and account servicing with attention to detail and compliance
• Utilize agency systems including Epic, Quote Rush, Citizens Insurance (Easylinks), RingCentral, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
• Represent the agency at client meetings and community events in a professional manner
• Consistently meet or exceed sales and client retention goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida Property & Casualty (P&C) license in good standing 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in P&C insurance sales or client service
• Proven track record of closing new business and retaining clients
• Professional phone presence: articulate, confident, and efficient communicator
• Professional appearance and demeanor for client-facing events
• Stable work history (no frequent job changes)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• College education preferred
