Medical Receptionist

Duties:- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.- Greeting patients and checking them in/out for their appointments.- Scheduling patient appointments and managing the appointment calendar.- Collecting patient information and updating electronic medical records.- Verifying insurance coverage and processing insurance claims.- Assisting with billing and payment processing.- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.- Providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors.

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.- Proficient in using phone systems and eClinicalworks is preferred.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
