Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Responsible for coordination and oversight of the Medical Staff Services Department, including meeting management, flow of information from medical staff committees through the Medical Executive Committee and the Governing Board. Assists with TJC Survey preparation for the medical staff/leadership function, including staff and medical staff education regarding accreditation standards. Works closely with medical staff leaders and hospital administration. **What qualifications you will need:** + Degree in business or health related field desired. + Previous experience in a Medical Staff position preferred. + Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. + Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule as needed. + CPCS Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred. + Affiliation with the California Association Medical Staff Services strongly encouraged. + Must possess good human relations skills. + Must possess excellent clerical skills. + Must possess ability to compose minutes and well written correspondence. + Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a broad range of professionals. + Must be able to adapt to changing schedules, deadlines and demands, and heavy workload. + Must possess knowledge in word processing, spreadsheet applications, data base systems and the Internet. + Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
