Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant – Sherborn, MA
Start Date: Week of August 25th (no later than September 5th)
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday or 4 days/week, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM (end time negotiable depending on traffic)
Hours: 16–20 hours per week
A warm, professional family in Sherborn, MA is seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to care for their 9-year-old daughter (incoming 4th grader) and assist with light household tasks. Mom is returning to full-time work in early September and dad works from home two days per week, so the family is looking for a long-term partner who can cover after-school hours, help with driving to activities, and support the overall flow of the home.
Responsibilities:
• Pick up from school and drive to after-school activities
• Engage the child in age-appropriate play, conversation, and routine building
• Provide basic homework support
• Fold laundry and help with general home organization
• Light tidying and occasional errands
• Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a similar role with elementary-aged children
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record (required)
• Comfortable working in a home with two cats
• Organized, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• Legal to work in the U.S.
