**Job Opportunity for Family Medicine Physicians**
**Responsibilities:**
- Must be able to perform C-sections (a type of surgery for delivering babies).
- Join a busy medical team that sees many patients.
- Work with 8 Doctors and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.
- On-call duty for OB (obstetrics) and hospital is 1 out of 9 times; for C-sections, it's 1 out of 3 times.
- Provide full family medicine services, which includes surgical care for pregnancies, emergency room care, and hospital care.
- Specialists are available for different areas like heart, urinary system, digestive system, ear, nose, throat, and bones.
- All necessary services like lab tests, x-rays, sleep studies, MRIs, CT scans, mammography, nuclear medicine, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, and emergency care are located at the same site.
**Qualifications Needed:**
- Must be Board Eligible (within 3 years to become certified) or Board Certified in Family Medicine - this is required.
- Must have an Iowa medical license or IMLC (or be willing to get one) - this is required.
- Must complete OB Fellowship training before starting the job - this is required.
- Must be able and willing to perform C-sections (please state your interest in the "Additional Submission Details" section) - this is required.
**Certification Requirements:**
- Board Certified
- Board Eligible
- Controlled Substance License
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration License)
**Licensing Needs:**
- Iowa medical license
- Additional License Requirements: IMLC accepted, OB Fellowship training must be completed before starting, and the provider must be able and interested in doing C-sections.
