Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Hillcrest Health-Care System, is a 620-bed hospital among Oklahoma’s most widely respected and acclaimed hospitals, offering extraordinary care and a multitude of services in many areas including Oklahoma’s largest dedicated heart hospital.  

• Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.  
• Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study. 
• Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations
• Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director. 
• Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable. 
• Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
• The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director

Job Requirements

• Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist required
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is required
• Licensed Sleep Technologist is required
• Current CPR (BCLS) Certification

Preferred Job Requirements

• Scoring experience preferred
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred
