Do you want to work for a Championship organization? We have the job for you! The Miami HEAT Broadcast Services team is seeking a Producer, Long Form Content! The Long-Form Producer/Editor is a hands-on video producer and editor responsible for creating long-form content that lives natively on the Miami HEAT’s YouTube channel and across digital platforms. This role requires a creative executor with a strong grasp of storytelling, platform trends, and post-production craft. From behind-the-scenes features to video podcasts and episodic series, this producer will help shape content that feels native to YouTube and resonates with the team’s fanbase. This position also contributes to Inside the HEAT, the team’s Emmy Award-winning long-form series, and supports video-podcast editing and production as part of the broader content strategy. The ideal candidate has a digital-first mindset, a YouTube editor’s eye, and the ability to craft engaging, emotional stories from player access, interviews, and all-access moments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list. YouTube & Long-Form Video Editing Produce and edit long-form videos (typically 5–10 mins) for the Miami HEAT YouTube channel, including team features, player profiles, all-access stories, and original formats. Edit with a clear understanding of YouTube pacing, retention, and audience behavior. Help shape story arcs from interviews, access footage, and real-time team moments. Collaborate with the digital and social teams on titling, thumbnail planning, and release strategy. Inside the HEAT Serve as an editor and producer on Inside the HEAT episodes and segments, contributing to scripting, interviews, structure, and post-production delivery. Maintain high production value and brand standards across the series. Video Podcast Support Edit multi-camera video podcast episodes and other talk-driven formats for YouTube and digital platforms. Help adapt these formats for short-form and social cutdowns as needed. Production & Post Workflow Assist on shoots when needed. Manage footage logs, project files, and contribute to organized asset storage. Deliver edits on deadline with high attention to quality, detail, and story clarity. Education And/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Film/TV Production, Digital Media, or equivalent work experience. Must possess television production skills associated with live and remote TV production, pre- and post-production, with a minimum of 3 years of working experience. Work Environment & Expectations Some evenings, weekends, and holidays are required based on production needs. Ability to lift equipment to 25 lbs and assist on set when needed.
