Scope: Manage the construction of two data centers
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $51 per hour
The Field Project Manager is responsible for managing, developing, and successfully implementing projects of varying complexity within the assigned functional area. This role works directly with business stakeholders and oversees all field-related project activities to ensure on-time, safe, and efficient project completion.
Project Leadership & Coordination
Lead multiple projects from initiation to completion.
Facilitate project planning sessions to establish scope, objectives, performance goals, and timelines.
Design comprehensive project plans and track progress against established milestones.
Conduct ongoing research and analysis to support project schedules and planning efforts.
Field Management
Manage daily operations at two data centers in Reno, NV.
Oversee scheduling, commissioning activities, on-site meetings, and resource coordination.
Serve as the on-site safety lead, ensuring full compliance with safety protocols.
Manage commissioning (Cx) documentation and maintain accurate project records.
Issue Resolution & Risk Management
Identify project issues and track resolution efforts.
Monitor project risks using quality tools and collaborate with teams to develop effective solutions.
Recommend alternatives or mitigation strategies when challenges arise.
Communication & Documentation
Communicate project status updates to teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.
Maintain project notes, databases, documentation, and performance reports.
Share lessons learned with other teams and leverage their experiences to enhance project outcomes.
Team Guidance
Identify and assign appropriate resources to project tasks.
Coach and guide team members throughout various stages of the project.
Provide constructive developmental feedback to support team performance.
