Quality Manager | Hart, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Lead and direct the quality control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspection, testing, and process control.
• Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
• Conduct internal and external audits to verify adherence to quality standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure product quality from design to delivery.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with advanced quality planning tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA)
