Quality Supervisor | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Montague seeking Quality Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control personnel on inspection procedures and standards.
• Oversee all product inspection, testing, and release activities to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor manufacturing processes for adherence to quality specifications and process controls.
• Investigate quality non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, analyze data, and generate performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, IATF 16949, etc.).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and 8D.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Practitioner certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001 or other relevant industry standards
• Experience with Supplier Quality Management, including audits and development
