Telemetry monitoring is also available. The department has a physical therapy gym on the unit that allows the patients to get adequate physical therapy without having to leave the unit. High volume patient populations include patients who have had total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties. Moderate volume patient populations include other types of surgical procedures, inpatient and 24-hour observation patients that are medical patients.
