Job Description Insight Global is actively hiring a variety of REMOTE, Mechanical Piping Designers to support newly acquired Navy and Coast Guard programs to support a major client. Our client is currently undertaking multiple new programs that will be the start of decade long work on over 5 different ships and submarines, with that they are very eager to hire talented Designers at all levels to come join the team and be a part of this exciting new chapter. With the rapid growth there will be plenty of opportunity to move up in every team and accelerate your career fast! We are looking for candidates with experience across these disciplines that will be assisting in developing 2D designs and 3D models using tools such as ShipConstructor and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate has a background in ship, shipyard, or similar industries as these programs require complex design structures. The Design teams at this company are vital to these programs and will be top priority to management, these are moving very quickly. This role will be two year remote contract in which candidates will design and develop the next generation of shipyard construction and ships! Position Summary: Due to continued growth, one of Insight Global's major clients is seeking Mid and Senior Level Mechanical Designers with a background in Ship Building, Ship Construction, Aerospace, or Oil and Gas.
