City/State: Edina, Minnesota Categories: Nurse (RN/LPN) Shift: Ebenezer Job Status: day Req ID: 155496 Pay Range: Ebenezer **Job Overview** Ebenezer is looking for a **RN Educator - Registered Nurse** to join our corporate team at Ebenezer corporate office! This position provides training and education to a variety of audiences, including but not limited to, employees, clients, family and the general public. In addition, this position provides supervision and skills verification for the licensed and unlicensed nursing staff. This education nurse schedule includes; + On call/Casual + Day shift + To maintain Casual status, employees must be willing to be available to work a minimum of **three (3)** shifts per month (two shifts must be weekend shifts) and **one (1)** Holiday shift per year. The weekend starts with the beginning of the night shift on Friday and ends with the beginning of the night shift on Sunday **Responsibilities:** + Presents educational topics related to the health care industry in large and small group settings + Maintains appropriate supplies at NEO to provide effective training and competency verification + Assist with NEO workflow as needed to support Education Coordinator + Completes special projects and program development as assigned + Demonstrates and teaches skills + May provide supervisory activities for licensed and unlicensed staff + Participates in research and development of presentations reflective of regulatory compliance and best practice **Required Qualifications:** + Associate of Science Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Nursing + less than 1 year of previous experience + Proficient in Microsoft Windows 7 + Registered Nurse RN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing + Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows -AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor.
