Salary Range : 2,000 - 2,500 Â USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Roofing Estimator to join our team, specializing in commercial and multi-family residential roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating within the roofing industry, with a strong background in analyzing project plans, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure successful project execution. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Review architectural plans, specifications, and related documents for commercial and multi-family roofing projects 
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors 
• Analyze bid proposals, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates 
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the bid and pre-construction phases 
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives 
• Maintain and update a database of unit costs and historical data 
• Assist in preparing and submitting bid packages on time 
• Monitor ongoing projects to compare actual costs against estimates 
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices 

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience in roofing estimating, specifically for commercial and multi-family residential projects
• 1+ year of direct hand on roofing experience
• Strong knowledge of various roofing systems 
• Proficient in estimating software 
• Excellent understanding of construction documents and specifications 
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
