Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Hours: 37.5 per week Start Date: Estimated 11/17/2025 Job Summary Amergis Educational is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at the Autism Learning Center. This role focuses on implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth, ensuring they can access curriculum and thrive in the classroom. Key responsibilities include: + Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). + Providing input on students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring progress. + Coaching and mentoring staff on positive behavior interventions and effective implementation of BIPs. + Collaborating with teachers, social workers, aides, and administrators to foster a positive learning environment. + Managing student behavior in alignment with school policies and procedures. Qualifications + Master's degree in Special Education, Behavior Analysis, or related field (required). + BCBA certification and Maryland Behavior Analyst License (required). + Minimum 2 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum; school-based experience preferred. + Knowledge of DSM and IDEA regulations related to autism and other disabilities (preferred). + Supervisory experience (preferred). + Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
