About the Role

We are seeking a Scrum Master who acts as a servant leader, team coach, and flow optimizer responsible for enabling Agile teams to deliver high-quality products predictably and sustainably. In today’s environment, the Scrum Master not only facilitates Scrum events but also guides teams in agility at scale, cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and the ethical use of AI-driven tools. The role blends people leadership, delivery facilitation, and systems thinking—ensuring psychological safety, rapid feedback loops, and outcome-focused delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Facilitation & Team Enablement

  • Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retrospectives, Refinement).
  • Remove impediments proactively—technical, organizational, and interpersonal.
  • Teach teams to self-organize, make data-driven decisions, and improve continuously.
  • Foster psychological safety and healthy team dynamics, especially in hybrid/remote setups.

2. Delivery Flow & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and optimize flow metrics: cycle time, throughput, WIP, predictability, and quality indicators.
  • Ensure teams use modern Agile practices (story mapping, slicing, hypothesis-driven development).
  • Encourage automation, CI/CD adoption, and DevSecOps alignment.
  • Promote incremental delivery and outcome-oriented planning.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Work with Product Owners to refine backlogs, ensure clarity of goals, and maintain prioritization discipline.
  • Improve communication channels across engineering, design, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate alignment ceremonies (e.g., PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, cross-team syncs).

4. Scaling Agile & Organizational Coaching

  • Support adoption of scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale) when relevant.
  • Coach leaders and teams on modern Agile practices, lean thinking, and value-stream optimization.
  • Identify cross-team dependencies and help orchestrate resolutions.

5. AI-Augmented Delivery Practices

  • Promote responsible and effective use of AI tools for backlog refinement, estimation support, test automation, and documentation.
  • Teach teams how to integrate AI capabilities without compromising security, quality, or ethics.
  • Use AI-supported analytics for delivery insights and risk prediction.

6. Measuring Success & Reporting

  • Use evidence-based Agile metrics, avoiding vanity KPIs.
  • Provide transparent progress updates focusing on value, not activity.
  • Continuously monitor team health and delivery maturity.

Who you are:

Experience Required

  • 12 plus years in Software Development lifecycle and with 3–7+ years working as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or team facilitator.
  • Proven track record leading Agile teams in complex digital environments.
  • Experience with hybrid or fully remote teams.
  • Background working in tech or product-centric organizations (software, platform engineering, data).
  • Hands-on experience using Agile metrics and flow-based practices (Kanban, Scrumban).

Technical & Delivery Experience

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, CI/CD, cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, product discovery, and lean experimentation.
  • Basic understanding of AI-enabled tooling (Jira AI, GitHub Copilot, test automation AI, analytics tools).

Leadership & Coaching Skills

  • Exceptional facilitation and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated coaching ability across varying team maturity levels.
  • Ability to promote resilience, accountability, and collaborative behaviors.
  • Skilled in supporting Product Owners with backlog shaping and value definition.

 

Qualifications (Nice-to-Have, Not Mandatory)

  • Certifications: CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, ICP-ACC, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to scaling frameworks.
  • Experience with tools like Jira/Confluence, Azure DevOps, Notion, Miro, and AI-driven productivity tools.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
