Job Description

Salary: $90,700 - 156,400 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and MS Word, and familiarity with Right Angle. Analytical abilities using spreadsheets and/or database software such as MS Access are preferred.
  • Knowledge of the NGL industry is preferred, but similar and transferable knowledge and skills will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
  • I will analyze and report on MPLX G&P producer/equity NGL production to reflect the profitability of Marketing and Scheduling’s activities.
  • I strive to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and service providers.
  • I will create and evaluate economic models for current and prospective areas/markets of expansion that support MPLX G&P assets.
  • I will research and uphold current and historical market intelligence, including industry pricing, market conditions, developments, and alternative options and economics.
  • I coordinate supply and demand forecasts for NGL products to enhance visibility for management.
  • I collaborate with Traders and Plant personnel to develop and execute necessary sales allocation planning.
  • I compile and provide industry information and projected NGL sales forecasts for the frac spread hedge program development.
  • I ensure NGL compliance regarding sales to meet existing hedge requirements and other obligations.
  • I guide Traders as they collaborate closely with back-office to ensure adherence to the controls outlined in the Risk and Credit Management Policy.
  • I assist NGL Marketing, back-office administration, and accounting personnel in resolving any issues related to movement, pricing, and compliance with accounting, credit, and contracts.
  • I conduct a variety of special analyses and administrative tasks as they arise.
  • I coordinate the Business Plan/Budget for the Marketing and Scheduling organization, along with any other financial forecasting.
  • I maintain G&A and operational expenses within budget parameters relevant to my areas of influence.
  • I prepare and distribute NGL reports to management, which include Actuals vs. Budget, Historical Pricing Analysis, Supply Demand, etc.
  • I develop, benchmark, and monitor the Scorecard KPIs that will be shared with G&P leadership.
  • I facilitate the review and development of a Customer Relationship Management platform.
  • I assist with Strategic Planning Sessions.
