We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Claims Adjuster to join a rapidly growing company in the property and casualty insurance sector. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in managing complex liability and latent injury claims such as asbestos, environmental, and molestation cases. • Manage complex liability and latent injury claims while adhering to service-level agreements and authority limits.
• Investigate, evaluate, and determine claim liability using legal knowledge and investigative techniques.
• Develop and execute strategies to resolve high-exposure claims efficiently.
• Lead internal discussions and collaborate with legal counsel on litigation strategies and claim resolutions.
• Monitor and control claim costs through appropriate containment measures.
• Provide guidance and oversight on significant and litigated claims.
• Review and manage reserves based on thorough analysis and claim developments.
• Support quality assurance and participate in internal claim audits.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or insurance certifications preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in complex claims handling or relevant legal experience in liability, environmental, or toxic torts.
• Adjuster licenses or willingness to obtain them shortly after employment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital claims platforms.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience with long-tail liability claims.
• Strategic and solution-oriented mindset.
• Capable of working independently and managing complex negotiations.
